JMU supports those impacted by the earthquake

James Madison University extends its support and concern to those impacted by the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The university sends its deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives or suffered injuries, in addition to all those now displaced from their homes. The devastation can be felt around the world, and we stand with our students, faculty and staff, and those affected within our local communities during these difficult moments. 

Wilson Hall, at the heart of JMU’s campus, will be lit red on Monday, Feb. 13 in honor of Türkiye and Syria.
