Description: If you’ve ever stayed silent in meetings, struggled to ask for help, or felt anxious about speaking up, this session is for you.
In this empowering, practice-based workshop, you’ll learn how to use curiosity as a tool to speak up, even if you're not confident (yet). Through gentle, guided activities, you’ll explore ways to ask questions that build clarity, express needs, and invite connection without confrontation. You'll also learn how posture, tone, and body awareness influence how you're heard.
Leave with ready-to-use language, new confidence in your voice, and the tools to turn anxiety into action.
Learning Objectives:
- Feel safer speaking up by turning anxiety into curiosity
- Learn to ask questions that create clarity, connection, and confidence
- See asking as a form of power, not confrontation
- Practice simple question frameworks in small, low‑risk exercises
Facilitated by: Ren Oliver, Professional Development Specialist, Talent Development
