Professional Focuses

Existentialism, Black existentialism, trans identity politics, gender studies, multi-cultural studies, professional/technical writing, literary theory.

Dr. Tillman's primary research focuses on existentialism and trans identity politics. Her dissertation is titled "An Existential Critique of Identity Politics in Trans Narratives: Establishing the Trans-Existential Hero." 

Dr. Tillman serves as a Ph.D. coach, a TEFL instructor, and an editor.
