Advising Notes:

1. Sport and Recreation Management is a new major which began in Fall 2010. Students transferring in Fall 2011 who have earned a JMU approved associate degree and plan to graduate from JMU in May 2013 must major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Recreation Management.
2. Students transferring in Fall 2011 who plan to graduate after May 2013 will complete the new Sport and Recreation Management major.
3. Transfer credit for COB 204:
Northern Virginia CC, Southside CC, Thomas Nelson CC and J. Sargeant Reynolds CC: ITE 100
New River CC: CSC 110
Blue Ridge CC, Lord Fairfax CC and Piedmont VA CC: ITE 120 (the old class is IST 114)
4. There is no direct equivalent in the VCCS or at RBC, however if students complete both ACC 211 & 212 (VCCS) or Business 201 & 202 (RBC), that will satisfy the ACTG 244 requirement.
