The Planning Database, Copy & Card Services and the Computer Loan Program

JMU Planning Database
In Fall 2000 the University embarked on an ambitious project to improve the efficiency, comprehensiveness and communication of strategic planning processes.
A Web-based Planning Database was developed and implemented in May 2001. The system has since been upgraded. Tina Grace will give an overview of the database
version that is being used today.
Campus Card Services
Becky Hinkle, Director of Business Services, will share the How and Why of a critical aspect of JMU life….the JACard. It is your official identification, the
mode of entrance to many buildings on campus and a can buy you an afternoon soda or snack from vending!
JMU Copy Centers
The JMU Copy Center delivers…literally! Not only can they handle full color and digital printing, copy, stuff and mail out your big projects, prepare Coursepacks
and do copyright research, they will bring your job right to your office! Becky Hinkle, Director of Business Services, will give you an overview of the JMU Copy
Centers and answer any questions you may have.
Computer Loan Program
Did you know that all full-time, non-probationary JMU employees are eligible to participate in the computer loan program? Rose Turner from the Business
Services Office and John Morris of the JMU Bookstore will tell you about this tremendous benefit and how to get involved in it. (formerly HR1026)
