Course #TD1799

Getting Military Veterans Acclimated to the Civilian Sector through College Support Programs

Note: This session is capped at 15 participants.

Session Description: This session brings attention and awareness to enlisted veterans separating and struggling to retain or find employment after honorably serving our great nation. Individuals should be enlightened to the perceptions of both military veterans and hiring managers on this potential working relationship. The study focuses on enlisted military veterans between the age range of 22-30 because there is a high separation rate between the first (4-6 years) and second (8-10 years) enlistment. Typically these veterans have no college degree, and current business practices are inconsistent regarding their veteran job placement.
