The President's Office Sixth Annual Conference on Diversity

Diversity: Avenues for Engagement

Course #TD1641

Environmental Stewardship and Diversity: Competing Values or Complementary Principles?

Note: This session is capped at 32 participants.

Session Description: Both diversity and environmental stewardship are defining characteristics at JMU. This discussion-based session for leaders at JMU asks the questions: How well do these two value systems play together? Do they in fact have anything to do with each other at all? We will explore how diversity and environmental stewardship intersect and interact, with a focus on marking specific challenges and identifying collaborative solutions.
