Workshop Description:

This workshop will give parents and caregivers insight into today's social web and media. Youth are more connected than ever and face reputation damage, predators, bullying, privacy intrusion and sexting charges if they are not careful. Parents can become "helicopter parents" if they are not careful. Strategies for mentoring youth about social media, cellphones and the internet will be discussed.
