Participants in CommonHealth’s Think FAST About Stroke program will learn the sudden warning signs of stroke so they can recognize and respond FAST.

Stroke is a medical emergency and a quick and informed response could save a life. Knowing what to look for and taking action quickly can save a life or reduce complications from a stroke. Sometimes a person having a stroke does not immediately look sick. Here are some signs to look for…

Stroke signs and symptoms vary and we will take the time to talk about the classic and non-classic symptoms of stroke and how it can be confused with a heart attack. We will review the ten tips to help you and your family knows how to become stroke free. And we will go over the latest information on risk factors for stroke.
