JMU is building that inner circle now. Established in 2006, the JMU President's Council is seeking members who will show their ongoing support for JMU on many fronts.

What your gift will accomplish

Sustained annual giving is essential to the financial health of JMU. Your ongoing annual commitment enables JMU professors and students to strive toward academic and personal excellence. These unrestricted funds provide support where it is most needed.

Your President's Council gift can directly help a JMU student or faculty member.

  • $1,000 will fund a one-time student scholarship award.
  • $1,000 will allow a professor to travel to present research at a major national meeting.
  • $1,000 will fund 10 domestic trip scholarships for students participating in the nationally recognized Alternative Spring Break program.
