Get Involved

Roop Service ProjectThe Roop Learning Community got involved in a local service project.

ORL offers a wide variety of ways for students to get involved while here at JMU. “There is …substantial evidence that freshmen who participate in campus activities are more likely to succeed in college than those who do not” …. We feel it is important for students to find their niche on campus and work to provide many ways a student can do just that. With so many organizations to choose from and programs in residence halls most nights of the week, a student here at JMU can easily find something they enjoy and meet people with common interests. The programs and organizations touch on both academic and social involvement on campus leaving no one out!
