Once they were undergraduates who came to JMU through the innovative Centennial Scholars program. Now they are graduate students who are giving back in a way only they can—by mentoring today's Centennial Scholars. They are showing these undergraduates the ropes in hopes of helping them become as successful as they have been. Graduate students Lamar Walker Jr. ('12) and Justin Harris ('10) (pictured), along with Cassandra Jones ('12), Kala Doss ('11), Katie Blevins ('11, '12M) and Beverly Walker ('11) are turning their Madison Experience back to the future by sharing their wisdom and encouragement with the next generation of Madison Centennial Scholars.
