Madison Student Giving Campaign

What is the Madison Student Giving Campaign?

The MSGC is a student-run giving campaign that is working to build a tradition of giving.  We educate students about the importance of private donations to JMU and ask them to make a gift to this great university.  Your donation added to other students' gifts can make a big difference in your Madison Experience.  Since the program began in 1989, students have pledged over $770,000 in donations!

How can you get involved?

Make a gift!

Fill out a gift card today!  Students are encouraged to donate their academic year:

Seniors, $20.10, Juniors $20.11, Sophomores $20.12, and Freshmen $20.13.

Donations can be made by FLEX, Credit Card, Check or Cash. Drop boxes are located around campus at Warren Info Desk, the Bookstore, UREC, and Festival.  You can also go online to www.jmu.edu/give/online. You designate where you want your money to go: ex. Student affairs, your academic department, Duke Club, etc.

Be a Campaign Captain

Would you like your resume to read: Motivated classmates to donate $20,000 in private support for James Madison University?!  We will train you to educate and ask your classmates for donations.  Through conversations with your peers you can motivate others to give, improve your communication skills, and get involved in leadership opportunities. Contact Nicole Hrusovsky (hrusovna@jmu.edu), our Campaign Captain Coordinator, to get started.

Classroom and Club Presentations
