Acceptance Notification

Congratulations!

You have been accepted to study abroad on a JMU Program!

To Accept: Please complete the post-decision procedures outlined in your online application.

  • This may include the signing of some required documents and a statement of committal. 

  • Payment of a non-refundable $500 deposit is required. The charge has been added to your MyMadison account. Please note, this deposit is not refundable or transferable once paid. (This charge will not be viewable on your account, as it is for a future term.)

    Online payments must be made by following the directions on the UBO website. 
    **Non-JMU students please follow the alternate instructions noted in your post decision materials.** 
    **Payments included with tuition or paid as a tuition payment will pay your current balance only**

  • If you do not have a valid passport, we strongly encourage you to start the passport application process as soon as possible.  More information on how to obtain a passport can be found online

To Decline: If you choose not to accept the space, please select "Decline" in the Committment to Participate and the $500 deposit charge will be promptly removed from your account.
