Dr. Ayers received his bachelor of science in biology from Virginia Tech, and his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. He received clinical training via an internship and residency in Family Medicine through the Medical College of Virginia.

Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians

Board Certified in Family Medicine

Professional Experience:

After practicing Family Medicine in Virginia Beach, VA for 28 years, Dr. Ayers joined the staff at the James Madison University Health Center in 2011.

What he enjoys most about working in college health:
