Forever Loyal is JMU’s Loyalty Giving Society with a mission to recognize and steward our most dedicated and involved donors.
To join the Forever Loyal Giving Society, you simply have to give to JMU for two or more years in a row. Forever Loyal runs by calendar year, and gifts of any amount count toward your annual contribution to JMU.
Consistent giving demonstrates your belief in the power of a JMU education and the importance of the Madison Experience. By supporting JMU year after year, you help direct funds to causes you care most about on campus.
The greatest reward is the pride and satisfaction of being one of JMU’s most loyal supporters! Each year, you will be recognized as part of this giving society with stickers you can display with Purple Pride. Additionally, every five consecutive years of giving (e.g., 5, 10, 15, 20, ...), you will receive a special “milestone” gift from a current student as a token of our appreciation for your ongoing support of the university.
This year, there's an added opportunity to keep your giving streak going! If you missed any years along the way, you can get them back when you give $26 to the Madison Promise Fund* for each missed year. Please make your gift by June 15.
*The Madison Promise Fund used to be called the Madison Vision Fund or the Madison Fund, and was renamed this spring. The new name honors President Jim's inauguration and the introduction of JMU's new strategic plan -- which will move the university forward through 2032 and beyond.
To participate, you must have been considered an active member of Forever Loyal (i.e., have given two consecutive years) at some point between the society’s inception in 2019 and now.
