Employee Scholarships
Edith Carrier Scholarship (1000487) - Scholarship was established by the JMU Women's Club to honor JMU's first lady, Edith Carrier. This scholarship is awarded to currently enrolled students who are children of JMU Faculty/Staff. Contact the JMU Women's Club for additional information.
Classified Employee Scholarship (1000888) - This endowed scholarship was established by the JMU Foundation for students of classified employees. Applicants must be sons or daughters of a full-time classified employee Contact the Financial Aid office for additional information.
Faculty-Staff Scholarship (1000952) - Fund was established by faculty and staff with the goal to create an endowed scholarship. Recipients shall be a new undergraduate student, resident of Virginia, in the top 20% of his/her high school, class in junior year, have a strong academic record, SAT scores of at least 1100 and no less than 500 in either verbal or math sections, and show potential for exceptional non-academic contributions. The faculty-staff committee will select recipients after consulting with the Admissions office.
