While James Madison University was busy celebrating the 100th anniversary of it's beginning and a century of achievement, an inner core of leaders, donors and celebrants cheered a founding of another kind.

The Madison Century Campaign for James Madison University began publicly two years ago.  Notable for its distinction as the first capital campaign in the university's 100-year history, the Madison Century campaign likely will be remembered as the awakening of a new culture of giving and involvement at Madison.  Clear evidence of this new culture is the rate of participation in giving.

The total amount of scholarship money available to Madison students annually has nearly doubled during the campaign.  The Century Campaign Luncheon, which was held on March 14, 2008, was a celebration of both the donors who give so much of themselves and the student and faculty recipients who strive to make the most of the their gifts.

To share with you the feelings of the day you are invited to view photographs and videos produced from that day; the recap of the campus wide events for Madison Day, scenes from the luncheon and other videos produced from the week.
