Trouble logging in to MyMadison?
  • Use Applicant Self-Help at https://login.jmu.edu/applicant/

  • If you do not remember your JMU PIN that you provided on your application, visit the Self-Help page to request your JMU PIN.
  • If after entering your JMU Electronic ID (e-ID), you come to the password screen and see the default Grey Security Image, this is an indication that your e-ID has not been activated.
    • To activate your e-ID: View the YouTube video created to walk through how to activate your account. Visit Self-Help to request a new Account Activation Link. A computer generated email will then be sent to the address on file.
  • If you forgot your e-ID password and clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link displays an "Access Denied. Please Try Again." message, it is most likely because you have not activated your JMU e-ID.
  • If you continue to have difficulty logging into MyMadison, the JMU Information Technology Help Desk is ready to support you. Please call them directly at (540) 568-3555 (Mon-Thurs: 8am-9pm; Friday: 8am-5pm; Sunday: 3pm-9pm).
