Currently, 7% of our alumni give back to JMU.
In physical numbers, that's 7,700 donors for 110,000 alumni.
That's not a lot of donors.
In fact, it puts us way behind peer institutions in terms of alumni giving.
We pride ourselves on the idea of the Madison Experience -- a college experience unmatched by any other institution. Yet our collective love for JMU has not translated to financial support for our beloved alma mater.
This doesn't make sense to us. And it probably doesn't make sense to you.
We're going to change this.
