JMU students and graduates share a common bond. For decades, we have proven ourselves as educated and enlightened citizens who lead productive and meaningful lives. JMU creates problem solvers. And as JMU’s reputation has grown nationally, so too have the reputations of our degrees.
What does this have to do with giving?
Everything.
For 17 years, JMU was rated the No. 1 public, masters-level, regional university in the South. In 2012, we lost that top ranking to The Citadel.
The reason had nothing to do with our graduation rate, the GPA or SAT score of our freshmen class, or the outstanding work of our students and faculty.
