Student Passes for James Madison's Montpelier

James Madison University is proud to partner with Historic Montpelier to provide JMU students with a free admission ticket to the grounds of James Madison's historic home.

Students are invited to spend the day exploring and engaging with the Mere Distinction of Color Exhibit, 8+ miles of public walking trails, a renowned archaeology lab, the Exchange Café, and the house James and Dolly Madison called home. Hour long tours of the house are given Monday-Sunday from 10am to 3pm. You must be currently enrolled at JMU to receive your ticket. Tickets are suitable for individual students, classes, or small groups. Please contact the Office of the President if you are a professor who plans to bring a class to Montpelier as a part of your course or service project.

Fill out this form to apply for your free student ticket.
