External Guest Access to Microsoft 365

Information Technology has recently updated all documentation in the JMU Knowledge Base regarding how to grant access for files and folders in the JMU Microsoft 365 environment to external guests . Please refer to the updated articles below for details on how to add guest access to a team, guest access to specific files or folders within a team, or granting guest access to files in an individual's OneDrive.

Note: guest access does not require the guest to create a Microsoft account, as any guest can use a one-time access code that will allow their existing email account to access the file or folder in the JMU Microsoft 365 environment.
