Technology Review process reminder

Faculty and staff are not permitted to enter University Data into any technology without prior review and approval from Information Technology. In addition, no highly confidential data (Social Security Numbers, bank account numbers, credit card data, VISA and/or passport data, driver's license numbers, or personally identifiable health data) or personally identifiable information (PII) should ever be entered into Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.

A Technology Solution Request (TSR) should be submitted to IT to begin the technology review process. Departments should submit a TSR as soon as a technology need has been determined, and we ask that you please allow a minimum of 4 weeks after IT has received the necessary documentation for the review process to be completed.
