Judy Strickler (’60) receives 2023 Leslie Gilliam (’82) Spirit of Philanthropy Award

Judy Shreckhise Strickler is this year’s recipient of a prestigious award recognizing a James Madison University contributor who inspires the next generation of philanthropy. Her family joined her on May 20 to receive the award at the Women for Madison Summit in JMU’s Festival Conference and Student Center Ballroom. Alongside her late husband Charles, Judy has been a role model and key philanthropic partner with the university for many decades.
