New Faculty Welcome is JMU's new faculty orientation program, which will help you get started, connect with your new colleagues, and become oriented to the institution and its culture. This year's Welcome is located at Hartman Hall.
Throughout the day, you will encounter programs that
- Welcome faculty to JMU
- Offer opportunities for networking and community building
- Enhance the success of faculty by encouraging a comprehensive approach to career planning
- Engage faculty in professional development that supports a diverse range of faculty careers and identities
- Orient participants who are new to JMU to the institution's culture
- Provide faculty with timely resources related to teaching, scholarship, service, and more
Parking information: Participants can park in C5 Lot, P Lot, and Champions Drive Parking Deck. Visitors with accessible permits will be able to park in accessible spaces in P Lot.While permits are not required, please park in standard, unmarked spaces.
