Graduate Assistant

Alida Schreuders is a Graduate Assistant in the Master of Public Administration program at James Madison University, with a concentration in International Stabilization and Recovery Operations. She received her Bachelor of Arts at JMU, studying International Affairs, Modern European Studies, and Spanish. Her professional journey includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the JMU Political Science Department, interning for a community center in Bosnia and Herzegovina, interning for a Senator’s Office on Capitol Hill, and working as a manager at a local Italian restaurant. Her work as a GA with MCCD is focused on the development of the center, university impact, and collaboration with Recovery Housing Services. Her professional interests revolve around the field of international development, and she hopes to pursue a career that intersects public service with stabilization and recovery operations.
