MCCD is housed within JMU’s Division of Research, Economic Development and Innovation. Our applied action research and evaluation helps advance the vision of the Office of Community and Economic Development, which is to serve as a catalyst for collaborations that support economic vitality and vibrancy in our community.

Highlights

MCCD is led by Executive Director Dr. Amanda Teye and Dr. Lili Peaslee, Associate Director. The two have been working together for more than a decade to advance applied research that has positively impacted the region.
