FALL 2018

Duke Hall Gallery of Fine Art and ArtWorks Gallery offer on-campus gallery internships each semester.  Along with monitoring the gallery to ensure safety and security, this unique internship brings students the experience of working within all aspects of a contemporary art gallery.  Hands-on training will be accompanied by lectures and seminars taught by the Gallery Director.  Gallery interns earn 1-credit and work a minimum of 50 hours.  2-credit internships are also available.

Exhibition Volunteer Opportunity

Are you interested in art snd enjoy working with people?  Become an exhibition volunteer at Duke Hall Gallery of Fine Art!  Volunteers welcome visitors, monitor the gallery and assist with installation of art exhibitions.  Volunteer requests are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Docent Program

Duke Hall Gallery of Fine Art operates a docent program to bring a rich
experience to our community members.  Docents are volunteer teachers who provide group learning experiences in the form of museum tours, demonstrations, or instruction specific to current exhibitions.

Docents conduct visits for adults and school groups of all ages at the Gallery.  If you enjoy discussing artwork with others, consider joining the docent program.
