Workshop Description: The advancement and speed of all social media communications has reached a contagious point. Understanding the “rules of engagement” will save you potential consequences, personal and professional.  Are you following all of the rules? That’s fantastic if you are; it’s just that we sometimes aren’t aware of all of the rules we should be following!  Come learn the rules and how to navigate and use the social media to your benefit.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Understand the importance of social media; its advantages and disadvantages
  • Comprehend how Facebook, Twitter and blogs can be used to engage others
  • Understand the consequences associated with “misused” or “misinterpretation” of social media
