Safe Outdoor Adventures
Course# TD1459

Tight budget but still want to get away this year? Interested in an adventure? Want to be sure you are as safe as possible? Considering starting a more active lifestyle? Being active is a fundamental component of good health. Summer and Fall provide perfect opportunities. Since activities are a time of family togetherness, this program will include family issues including modeling and helping children make healthy, active choices. VA State Parks are the perfect place to explore adventure, nature, and fitness in a family-friendly, low cost environment—whether you are looking to get away for the day, weekend, or even a week or two. As people become more active, there are more accidents and situations in which a little knowledge can help lessen the severity of the outcome. Outdoor Adventures will encourage a more active lifestyle and provide information and tips to make it safer. To learn more about Safe Outdoor Adventures visit CommonHealth.
