Pre-requisites: Individuals need to be comfortable with basic PowerPoint functions and public speaking.

Target Audience: Individuals interested in learning how to develop powerful presentations and practicing their presentation skills.

Workshop Description: Do you have to develop presentations for personal or professional reasons? Do you want to become more comfortable with presentation development? If so, join us for this two-part workshop. Session one will cover presentation development techniques. Session two will cover presentation evaluation techniques then participants will deliver a five minute presentation which will be evaluated by the other participants.

In this workshop participants will:

  • get to know each other.
  • learn presentation basics.
  • discuss presentation do's and don'ts.
  • discover PowerPoint tools for stocking their ‘presentation toolbox’.
  • prepare a five-minute presentation.
  • practice developing PowerPoint presentations.
  • learn how to evaluate presentations.
  • practice evaluating presentations.

Participants are encouraged to take TD 1270: Mastering the Art of Public Speaking in conjunction with this workshop.
