Developing Intercultural Competency

Note: This session is capped at 15 participants.

Session Description: This interactive workshop will allow participants to gain new insights into intercultural competence while learning about self.  A variety of activities will be offered to develop an understanding of the influence of cultural world view on perception and identify sources of stereotypes.  Participants will begin to understand cross-cultural contrasts in communication styles and values.  The workshop is designed for those interested in better understanding themselves while gaining an appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity.
