Emotional Triggers: Harmless Intentions that Lead to Harmful Results
Course# TD1332

NOTE: You must pre-register for lunch and each concurrent session you plan on attending.

Emotional triggers are those words, statements and behaviors that leave you feeling angry, powerless, anxious or resentful. Although these emotional "buttons" may have been pressed unintentionally, our reactions are still the same. In this session, we will discuss our responsibilities when it comes to the management of these triggers. First, we will identify common triggers, especially those that are culturally charged, and then discuss ways to manage our own reactions when our triggers are, well, triggered.
