Target Audience: Individuals that have completed Business Writing & Proofreading: TD1021 and are interested in learning copyediting skills.

Course Description: This session begins with editing hard copy documents using standard copy marking symbols. In addition, this course teaches you how to use Microsoft’s track changes feature to edit documents electronically. Electronic editing is one of the best editing tools for collaborating on documents you write for your office.

After completing this session, you will be able to:

  • use copy marking symbols correctly;
  • use track changes when you want to mark up documents electronically;
  • accept or reject your revisions;
  • insert, view, edit, and delete comments.
