Target Audience: Individuals who are in the AACP program or who have completed the program.

Workshop Description: 

Join the JMU Training Department as we honor all Administrative Assistants at JMU with a special training event.  JMU’s own Judy Rannow will present Give ‘em a Pickle.

“Your business is not what you sell: it’s who you serve.  So Give ‘em the Pickle!”  ~ Bob Farrell, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour

Customer service is about who you serve and how you serve them.  This fun, interactive session is all about taking care of the customer.  Participants will learn how to connect with customers, anticipate customer needs, delight customers and inspire others.

In this session, participants will:

  • Assess team and personal service.
  • Identify customers.
  • Identify “Pickles”.
  • Determine strategies for “giving away pickles”.
  • Develop “Pickle” action and accountability plans.

AACP Certificate Ceremony with Dr. Linwood Rose follows the program and will be held at 11:30 AM
