Commitment to the educational success of our students is a hallmark of James Madison University. Subsequently, JMU has developed the Wilson Hall Learning Center to complement and support the institution's academic mission.

At JMU, Student Success means helping our students establish and achieve their educational goals. Student Success programs assist students in reaching desired levels of academic achievement, career development, planning and decision-making, and leadership development. In three ways, we try to remove the roadblocks that historically may have prevented students from making the most out of their educational experiences:
    - by assisting students in their transitions into, through, and out of the university
    - by helping every student to develop their own self-responsibility and motivation to learn
    - by organizing JMU programs and services to be cohesive, supportive, and based on common educational goals

it's about choice...it's about convenience...it's about service...it's about good advice...it's about learning...it's about time.
