Description

Duties:

Our family is in need of a summer caregiver for our 9 year old son who is on the autism spectrum. He enjoys sharing his special interests (Pokemon, Legos, geography, dogs) in one on one interactions and only requires supervision for activities of daily living. Time this summer can include scootering around playgrounds, swimming at Westover, hiking in nearby parks, jumping on our trampoline, etc. Our son is active and will enjoy spending the summer with someone who loves exploring Harrisonburg! We also have a 6 year old daughter who will mainly be in camps this summer but may need a pick up - which we would communicate well in advance.

Requirements:

Reliable transportation. Openness to neurodiversity and willingness to collaborate with our family
