Duties:
People excited by local foods, farmers markets, sustainability, and also LOVE BREAD are needed at Staff of Life Bread company to travel in a bakery vehicle (van or car with small trailer) to Leesburg and/or Harrisonburg Farmers Markets to set up our booth and bread displays using safe food handling, use a point of sale system to make purchases, make change for customers, follow the market rules, be a great representative of Staff of Life Bread, be comfortable out of doors in the open air markets year round, pack it all up and return to the bakery each shift. Some lifting up to 40 lbs to chest height (bread can be deceptively heavy!), be able to stand for 6 hours, be pro-active and work independently after training, and want to be there doing a good job getting folks excited about really great bread.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license, (Dpt. of Labor requirement) over 18, good driving record.
- Available to work early Saturday mornings 2-3 times per month, Year-Round & some Tuesdays, which may include school breaks or holidays.
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs to chest height repeatedly.
- Be able to stand for 4-6 hours.
- Must be able to be fair, honest, and pleasant with customers.

Staff of Life Bread is looking for several folks who can drive and participate in early morning hours to keep our small business going. This job is important and attendance is vital. Work hard, have a pleasant time at the markets, then rest. That is our bakery philosophy. Wage may be adjusted after training is complete depending upon competency and diligence.

Saturdays - Harrisonburg 7 am-2 pm; Leesburg 6 am-2:30 pm; 2-3 Saturdays per month Fill in on Tuesdays (April-end of November) in Harrisonburg 7 am-2 pm.
