Summer Bridge Program

Welcome!

We are looking forward to having you join us for Bridging the Valley Program offered by Blue Ridge Community College, Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite College, and James Madison University.  The two-part program consists of  a three-week residential program that will take place from June 23 – July 11, 2013 and the Collaborative Learning Club during your first year.

To participate in the Bridging the Valley experience, you commit to participate in the Summer Bridge Program and a first year experience called Collaborative Learning Club (CLC) organized by your home college/university.  We encourage you to begin reviewing and completing the information listed below.

Required Signature Forms

• Bridging the Valley Acceptance Form (Due May 22 via mail or scanned and emailed to sowersjb@jmu.edu)
• Medical Information Form (complete and return via mail by June 3, 2013)
• SRI Consent Form (complete and return via mail by June 3, 2013)
• Horizons Outdoor Learning Center Participant Agreement (complete and return upon arrival to Summer Bridge)
• UREC Forms (complete and return upon arrival to Summer Bridge)
• W9 (complete and return upon arrival to Summer Bridge)
