Hall Activities
Nothing to do?!
Hardly! JMU Residence Life staff plans over 1400 programs each year in the residence halls. These programs are planned with the residents in mind. RAs will talk to the residents to find out what fun things they’d like to do throughout the year so they can plan accordingly. Hall staff members are trained so they can share information and experiences about appropriate resources and referral agents across campus and the community. Programs are advertised to residents via flyers, email and word of mouth. Residents should see his/her RA for details regarding upcoming events.
To get an idea of what types of programming to expect from RAs, we’ve outlined both of our programming models on the following pages. Please check them out and get excited about being involved in hall programs!

For upper class students, please click here to see the SYE Programming Model.
