Anne Collins, a member of the Honors Advisory Council since 2009, retired in 2004 after 36 years teaching History, Psychology and Government in the public schools of Chesterfield County, Virginia and Wicomico County, Maryland.

Anne is a graduate of Madison College (’67) with a B.S. degree in History, Social Studies, Psychology, and Political Science. Anne then obtained her Masters in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University (‘74) in Administration and a Master of Arts from James Madison University (’78) in American History.

Anne is an outspoken member of the Honors Advisory Council assisting with the Honors College with recruitment and marketing efforts in Maryland and Virginia.
