Cost of Services - Health professional services are covered by your comprehensive fee, paid when you pay tuition and fees. There is no charge (with a few exceptions) to see a care provider. Fees are incurred if you require lab testing, a procedure, medical supplies, or prescription medication. This list shows most of the charges you might encounter. If there is a charge for any service rendered, the student is responsible for payment at the time of service. The Health Center does not bill medical insurance as a means of reimbursement. We accept cash, check (made payable to JMU), FLEX (using your JACard), Discover, MasterCard or Visa (credit card in student's name), Flexible Spending Account Cards (health flex benefits cards), Android Pay and Apple Pay. Prices are subject to change.
