Bienvenido a Salamanca!

Welcome to the Semester in Salamanca Program! On these webpages, you will find an extensive resource for students and parents interested in finding out more about our program, as well as helping students in the program prepare for their semester abroad.

In the Salamanca program, you will have the opportunity to experience the cultural richness of Spain as the activities organized throughout the semester complement the material being taught in the classroom. The lectures from the classroom extend into a hands-on learning atmosphere, enriching students' knowledge of Spanish culture. Art, history, and literature come alive when you can study first-hand the works that once were only names in a textbook.

This program also offers an additional 4-week Internship in Valencia, Spain for Summer participants (June 23 - July 21, 2019). Students will have the opportunity to intern in several industries such as Business, Education, Communication, Law, Engineering, and Non-Profit.

College of Education students also have the option of a semester program specifically for them, taking place every Spring Semester. Offering four required courses and a practicum in local schools, the program integrates the study of educational foundations, student diversity and pedagogical instruction with the exploration of Spanish history and culture.
