Help promote active lifestyles for girls

The Morrison-Bruce Center conducts research and initiates programs that enhance the physical well-being and mental health of girls and women.

Your gift to the center helps promote active and healthy lifestyles by supporting programs like ColorBlast 5K; the Healthy Kids preschool nutrition program; and the Madison Alumnae Health and Fitness Program, which brings JMU alumni back to Harrisonburg to assess their health and fitness, participate in exercise programs, and attend lectures on nutrition and the importance of staying active.

When you give, you help the center advance knowledge in kinesiology and health sciences and disseminate its research findings to the public, enabling women to make critical decisions about their lifestyle choices.

Your gift to the center also provides students with hands-on learning opportunities in exercise science, dietetics and related majors through internships and practica. These real-world experiences are what make JMU graduates competitive in the job market and cause employers to appreciate "the roll-up-your-sleeves attitude" that JMU students show toward learning and working.

Your gift makes it possible.
