President Alger’s Inauguration Public Debate

Held on Friday March 15, 2013, the JMU debate team celebrated President Alger’s Inauguration and the birthday of James Madison with a debate between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. Cindy McGrath and Allison Bailey were advocating for the ratification of the U.S. Constitution while Oliver Brass and Samantha Perez were arguing against ratification. The debate was held at 3pm in Grafton-Stovall Theater on the James Madison University campus and had an audience of over 60 students, staff, faculty and community members.
