PETA Public Debate

On September 8, 2010 JMU debate team members Tuba Ahmed and Allison Bailey debated Bruce Friedrich, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Vice President, over the question “Is Eating Meat Ethical?” The debate was attended by over 1000 members of the JMU, Harrisonburg and Shenandoah Valley communities.

Other public debate topics included: alcohol, Ghandi, candidate, sustainable foods, and concealed weapons.
