What We Do:
Systems and Operations provides administration, maintenance, operation and security for all central systems and services.
Outages/Downtime:
Outages/Downtime Announcements regarding service disruptions and durations (if known) are posted on Computing Alerts. Major disruptions are noted after the introductory voice mail announcement when calling JMU Computing HelpDesk at 568-3555. All network electronics and file servers are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
