Windows XP Help and Support Center
The Help and Support Center built into the Windows XP operating system provides a single resource for online help, support, tools, how to articles, and other resources.
Simply click Start, and then click Help and Support. The Help and Support Center opens as shown below.
As you see, there are many resources in the Help and Support Center to help you find information about your computer and keep it working efficiently. Some notable sections are Performance and Maintenance, Fixing a problem, and Tools. As always, caution should be used when making any system changes. The HelpDesk also offers an online Self-Help resource, as well as a Knowledgebase. Microsoft has a guide online called Windows XP Professional - Maintain as well as resource called the Windows XP Support Center.
