Apple Serial Number

 Find the Serial Number on Your Apple Computer:

1. To find your Apple Serial Number on a Mac running OS X, click on the Apple Menu, click on About This Mac, click on the More Info... button to copy or view the serial number. Or, open your Mac hard drive, click Applications, Utilities and double-click System Profiler.

 Check your Warranty and Repair Options

1. On the Apple Support site,  on the right under "Self Help", click on "Check Your Service and Support Coverage".  Enter your hardware serial number and click continue for warranty information.
